Welcome!
I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m Monica Kettler, M.Ed, LPCC-S, and I’m honored you’ve taken the time to learn a little more about me!
Therapy, to me, should feel like a deep exhale. The kind where you can finally set everything down for a moment and just be. A space where you don’t have to have the right words, the perfect explanation, or even a clear sense of where to start. Just you, as you are.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio.
I work with adults who are often holding a lot. Maybe that’s high expectations, big transitions, or quiet anxiety that doesn’t always have a name yet. Whether you’re navigating a new chapter, feeling stuck in patterns you can’t quite shake, or simply craving more ease in your day-to-day life, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
My style is warm, collaborative, and very human. I show up as a real person in the room with you—curious, supportive, and fully invested in helping you feel understood. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s been feeling heavy, and gently build tools that actually fit your life, and not just what looks good on paper. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
I have a special focus on anxiety, life transitions, and perinatal mental health—including pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional and identity shifts that can come with becoming or being a parent. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy, always tailoring our work to you rather than a rigid formula.
At the heart of my work is this belief: you deserve a space where you feel supported, understood, and never rushed into becoming someone you’re not.
Here's a little reminder that I'm human, too! Outside of being a therapist, you'll usually find me with a cozy blanket and a good thriller or mystery book, checking out a new restaurant (especially if brunch & iced coffee is involved!), or having impromptu dance parties in the living room with my two-year-old son. To me, its the simple, everyday moments that end up being the most meaningful.
