Taking the first step toward therapy can feel like a big and meaningful decision. The first step is reaching out through my contact form or email to schedule a complimentary intro call. This gives us an opportunity to connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
If we decide to move forward, I’ll provide you with the necessary intake paperwork to complete before your first session.

An intro call is a brief, complimentary phone consultation that gives us the opportunity to connect before beginning therapy. It’s a chance for you to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions about my approach and services, and learn more about what working together may look like.
During this call, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for in therapy and determine whether my experience and approach align with your needs. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and I want you to feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
Please note that intro calls are not therapy sessions and are not intended for crisis support or a full clinical assessment. If we decide we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule your first appointment and begin the intake process.

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and create a foundation for our work together. We’ll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, your goals, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process.
I’ll ask questions about your background, experiences, relationships, and any areas of your life that feel important to understand. We’ll also discuss what therapy may look like moving forward and begin identifying a plan that feels supportive and personalized to your needs.
While the first session includes gathering information, it is also a time for you to get a sense of my approach and decide if I feel like the right fit for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable.

I offer both in-person and virtual therapy options to provide flexibility and support that fits your needs.
In-person sessions are available in Columbus, Ohio, beginning October 2026. Virtual therapy sessions are available throughout the state of Ohio for clients who prefer the convenience and comfort of meeting from home.
Whether we meet in person or virtually, my goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself and doing meaningful work.

My current business hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I offer variable appointment availability within these hours based on scheduling needs and current openings.
Because availability may change over time, I encourage you to reach out to learn more about current openings and find an appointment time that works best for you.

I am currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ohio, Carelon Behavioral Health, and The Health Plan. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits in addition to contacting me.
I am actively working on credentialing with other major commercial insurance plans. If I am not currently in-network with your insurance plan, you are still welcome to work with me as a self-pay, out-of-network client. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
-
Individual therapy sessions are $150 for a 55-minute session. Payment is due at the time of service, and I accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
As a self-pay practice, I do not bill insurance directly. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I believe therapy is an important investment in your well-being, and I’m happy to discuss any questions you may have about fees, payment options, or the process of getting started.

The number of sessions you attend will depend on your individual needs, goals, and the progress you make throughout the therapy process. Some clients find that short-term support is helpful, while others benefit from longer-term therapy.
During our first sessions, we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to work on and create a plan that feels supportive and personalized. Throughout our work together, we’ll regularly check in about your goals and ensure that therapy continues to meet your needs.
My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported while helping you build the insight, skills, and confidence to navigate life in a way that feels meaningful to you.

I work with adults in various stages of life, from young adulthood through later seasons of life. I have supported clients navigating anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum changes, life transitions, empty nesting, and the many challenges that come with change and growth. Therapy is a space to feel supported, understood, and empowered as you work through whatever season of life you are experiencing.
